Prevention

Prevention encompasses all measures taken and planned to prevent or reduce risks. Prevention helps decrease the onset, incidence, duration, and prevalence of mental health problems, in addition to promoting well-being. Being healthy is not only about not being ill but also achieving a complete state of well-being: physical, mental, spiritual, and social, and not merely the absence of diseases or aliments.

Referrals

It may be that the support we offer at SCS needs to be backed by evaluations and interventions from an external psychologist. The integration of external therapeutic processes along with school supports will enable viable communication between the therapist and SCS, facilitating personalized intervention throughout the process and extending the therapeutic approach in the school setting.

Follow-up

Once a help plan is established, it is essential to follow up and ensure communication between home, school, and external providers to ensure that the plan is carried out as effectively as possible and that the offered support is most effective.
