Spiritual Life Coordinator / Chaplain

SCS is seeking a Spiritual Life Coordinator to lead student discipleship and spiritual formation within a diverse secondary school community. This role includes some teaching, pastoral care, and leadership of spiritual life programs, with a focus on guiding students to grow in Christlike character, wisdom, and faith. The successful candidate will work closely with the Spiritual Life team to support both school-wide programming and individualized spiritual growth for students.

Candidates are preferably licensed teachers with at least two years of experience, have formal Bible or theological training, and demonstrate a deep love for Jesus and commitment to evangelical Christian education. Youth ministry experience and the ability to work effectively with adolescents are essential. Experience in cross-cultural settings is strongly preferred. Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.

Development and Alumni Relations Manager

Santiago Christian School is seeking a dynamic and energetic Development and Alumni Relations Manager. The Development and Alumni Relations Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program designed to provide significant contributed income to Santiago Christian School. In addition, this position is responsible for alumni relations and will take leadership in developing an alumni association with related activities to promote alumni engagement with the SCS community.  Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business management or public relations, and previous experience in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish is also required. Successful candidates will be able to clearly communicate the mission and vision of Santiago Christian School to alumni and the broader community.

HR Manager

Santiago Christian School seeks a relational and mission-driven International Human
Resources Manager to support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of our
international faculty and staff. This individual will lead efforts to attract, select, and retain
exemplary educators who align with the school’s Christ-centered mission, while managing
international benefits, residency processes, and employee well-being initiatives. The ideal
candidate is a born-again evangelical Christian with demonstrated commitment to Jesus Christ
and active involvement in a local church community. A master’s degree or certification in human
resource management (such as SHRM-CP) is required, along with fluency in English and
Spanish, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage
multiple responsibilities with discretion and cultural sensitivity. The International Human
Resources Manager will design and implement effective recruitment strategies, facilitate
onboarding and integration programs, oversee professional growth and performance
evaluations, and promote a positive and inclusive organizational culture that reflects the
school’s values and vision.

Elementary Spanish/Sociales Teacher

Santiago Christian School is seeking a passionate Elementary Spanish/Sociales teacher to join
our community for the 2026–2027 school year. This teacher will lead engaging instruction in
Spanish Language Arts and Dominican History/Social Studies, helping students grow in both
language and cultural understanding. The ideal candidate loves students, loves Jesus, and is
committed to academic excellence. Candidates should be fluent in Spanish and able to
integrate faith and learning in a Christ-centered environment. A bachelor’s degree in education,
Spanish, or a related field is required (master’s preferred), along with an evangelical Christian
faith commitment and teaching certification or licensure (Dominican or U.S. credential
preferred). Two years of teaching experience are preferred. The teacher will design lessons that
promote language development and critical thinking, align with Dominican curriculum standards,
and reflect a biblical worldview while collaborating closely with colleagues, students, and
parents.

Special Education Teacher

implementing effective support services within established guidelines and standards in the SCS
Learning Support Program. The ideal candidate will love Christ, love students of all abilities, and
be committed to Christian education as a vocation. Qualified candidates will be able to identify
and evaluate at-risk students, communicate effectively with parents, and share expertise with
teachers regarding student accommodations and interventions in our inclusion program.

Associate Teacher

Associate Teacher and Elementary (Grades 1 through 4) Associate Teacher. Candidates will
have evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. The Associate Teacher will have a

bachelor’s degree and possess or be working toward a Dominican teaching credential. The
ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing using English language is
required. The Associate Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to assist in the
education of students in a warm and nurturing environment. An ideal candidate will love

Music Teacher

Santiago Christian School seeks a trained and visionary Music Teacher to join
a dynamic team of faculty in a growing fine arts program. SCS is committed to a
vision of becoming a model for excellence in the arts in the Dominican Republic. The Music
Teacher will teach a variety of music classes and collaborate with a team of teacher leaders to
direct a fully staged musical theater production, in addition to having optional opportunities to
teach private lessons. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a U.S. state teacher
certification as well as evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. Two years of
experience is preferred, and previous international teaching experience is a plus. Basic
understanding of Spanish is helpful, but not required.

Secondary Math/Science Teacher

Teacher to teach various math/sciences classes from grades 7-12. The teacher will be working
with an established STEM team to continue growing the STEM program in the secondary
division. The teacher will support the goal of igniting students’ passion for discovery, critical
thinking, and engaging the world through mathematics as a reflection of its Creator. Candidates
must have a bachelor's degree in a related area, as well as evidence of an evangelical Christian
faith commitment and English fluency. Teacher certification and two years of experience is
preferred, and previous experience in an international school is a plus. Basic understanding of
Spanish is helpful, but not required.

Elementary Teacher

committed to academic excellence.  The individual should be a fluent English speaker with a
degree in elementary education, a U.S. state teacher certification/licensure, and evidence of an
evangelical Christian faith commitment. Candidates must be relationally focused and have the
necessary skills to work in a team-based, professional learning community. Successful
candidates understand or have experience with English as a Second Language immersion
strategies in the classroom.  Two years of experience is preferred, and previous teaching
experience in an international school setting is a plus. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful,
but not required.
