Matthew 28:19-20
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very
end of the age.”
The Discipleship Program at SCS is deeply rooted in God’s Word.
It starts with Jesus’ command to believers to make disciples,
teaching them to obey everything He commanded in His word.
The program’s main goal is to develop students into followers of
Christ through a year-long mentoring relationship with a mature
Christian from the school staff, helping students apply a biblical
worldview into their own lives and the world around them.
Students are referred by teachers, in order to be part of the
discipleship program. Parents are also welcome to solicit their
children to be part of the program through the Elementary
Office.
Parents will be notified through email indicating their child
will be part of the program.
Students meet weekly per grade levels to share time to worship
God together, also receiving encouraging messages from
teachers and staff to help them grow in their knowledge of God
and how to apply it into their lives.
We encourage parents to bring students to TNL activities, offered
once every 2 weeks, after school hours, for students 6th-12th
grade. Students will spend time together with other students
and teachers, with different activities aimed to foster spirituality
through camaraderie and fun activities.
