Santiago Christian School seeks an experienced art teacher who can help students appreciate the beautiful gift that God has given us through art and explore the visual arts through the creation and reflection process. This individual is responsible for teaching general exploratory art classes and aiding with the extracurricular art program.  This person pursues a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail; is organized, self-motivated, and warm; is willing to take direction; and is committed to working cooperatively within a team. This individual is in charge of the after-school Art Club, as well as assisting with Fine Arts Nights and other arts events. This teacher will also work to support arts education with our partner schools, ministries which serve some of the poorest communities in Santiago. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and preferably a U.S. state teaching license, as well as evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. Two years of experience is preferred, and previous international teaching experience is a plus. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful, but not required.
