Elementary Art Teacher
Santiago Christian School seeks an experienced art teacher who can help students appreciate the beautiful gift that God has given us through art and explore the visual arts through the creation and reflection process. This individual is responsible for teaching general exploratory art classes and aiding with the extracurricular art program. This person pursues a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail; is organized, self-motivated, and warm; is willing to take direction; and is committed to working cooperatively within a team. This individual is in charge of the after-school Art Club, as well as assisting with Fine Arts Nights and other arts events. This teacher will also work to support arts education with our partner schools, ministries which serve some of the poorest communities in Santiago. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a U.S. state teaching license as well as evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. Two years of experience is preferred, and previous international teaching experience is a plus. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful, but not required.
Middle School Teachers
Middle School Teachers - SCS seeks enthusiastic, student-centered, teachers who have a heart for middle school students. Our middle school students make up part of the body of our Secondary School (7th-12th grades) and teachers work collaboratively to pour into our students to make them confident and kind Christ-followers, as well as inquisitive and engaged learners. Candidates should be native English speakers with a degree in education, a U.S. state teacher certification/licensure, and have experience with English as a Second Language immersion strategies in the classroom. Candidates must have evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment and a desire to use education as a ministry for reaching and encouraging both believing and non-believing students. Candidates with multiple areas of certification and/or experience are highly desired. We are looking for the following positions for our middle school team:

Secondary Science/Mathematics Teacher
Santiago Christian School seeks a science/mathematics teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. The teacher will be working with an established STEM team to continue growing the STEM program in the secondary division. The teacher will support the goal of igniting students’ passion for discovery, critical thinking, and engaging the world through science and/or mathematics as a reflection of its Creator. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a U.S. state teacher certification as well as evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. Two years of experience is preferred, and previous international teaching experience is a plus. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful, but not required.
Elementary Teacher
Santiago Christian School seeks an Elementary Teacher who loves students, loves Jesus, and is committed to academic excellence. SCS understands the important role that K-6 educators have in shaping the hearts and minds of young students, and we desire individuals that are devoted to student learning. The individual should be a native English speaker with a degree in elementary education, a U.S. state teacher certification, and evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. Candidates must be relationally focused and have the necessary skills to work in a team-based, professional learning community. Successful candidates understand or have experience with English as a Second Language immersion strategies in the classroom. Two years of experience is preferred, and previous international teaching experience is a plus. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful, but not required.
