SCS is seeking a passionate and dynamic math teacher for our secondary math program (7th-12th grade). SCS is developing a math program that emphasizes robust conceptual understanding along with fluency in operations and a focus on real-life applications of math. Our vision is to equip students with the understandings and skills they will need to build a more just and prosperous society in our developing-world context. The ideal candidate will have U.S. state teacher certification and be able to engage students in critical thinking about math, inspire them with its relevance, and point them to the Creator of the order and structure that sustains life. The candidate must be relational and connect well with middle and high school students, love Jesus, and be committed to academic excellence.
SCS is seeking candidates for the positions of Early Childhood Education (PK3 through Kinder) Associate Teacher and Elementary (Grades 1 through 4) Associate Teacher. Candidates will have evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. The Associate Teacher will have a bachelor’s degree and possess or be working toward a Dominican teaching credential. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing using English language is required. The Associate Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to assist in the education of students in a warm and nurturing environment. An ideal candidate will love students, be committed to academic excellence, and have a passion for education.
