English as a Second Language Teacher

Santiago Christian School seeks an experienced ESL Teacher who can support English-language learners as they adapt to an immersion English-language academic program. The ideal candidate loves students, loves Jesus, and is committed to academic excellence. Successful candidates are native English speakers who understand, or have experience with, English as a Second Language immersion strategies in the classroom. Candidates must have an education degree with a US state teacher certification to accompany their ESL/TESOL certification, as well as evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. Two years of experience is preferred, and previous international teaching experience is a plus. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful, but not required.
